2005 was an extraordinary year for us with participation in 30 wine shows around the world, and a new country added to our distribution network every 2-3 weeks throughout the entire year. During the year the number of wine merchants selling our wines around the world grew from a dozen to 35 partners in 26 countries. We are very excited about this success as it has put us on an unassailably solid foundation and will enable us to expand significantly in the next few years, after a tripling of sales during 2005. In 2006 we expect to further double our wine output. This is a cracking pace, to put it mildly.

We've also had some spectacular individual successes around the world in 2005 – in London we were placed in the UK's top three department stores: Harrods, Selfridges and Harvey Nicholls (the latter promoting us as one of their top 9 wines for the whole of summer). Our wine was also served at the US Open Golf Tournament to Tiger Woods and other notables and we had some spectacular successes in the world's top restaurants. In January 2006 the Gordon Ramsay Chain of Restaurants (the UK's most famous) announced that our wine was their best selling NZ wine and during the year we were listed in nearly 200 new top restaurants around the world.
